Recognition

The work has been noticed along the way.

Awards, fellowships, funding, programs, and selections have opened doors and added external validation to the journey. I'm grateful for them.

But I do not see recognition as the destination. The real work is what happens before and after the certificate, medal, or selection.

This page is a record of the people and institutions that chose to recognize, support, challenge, or create space for that work.

Someone choosing to place resources behind an idea still being proven. Early support creates room to keep building before certainty exists.

Building in Public

Programs that helped move the venture forward.

Not every important recognition comes with a medal. Some come as an invitation, a place in a program, or simply a room where the work gets taken seriously.

What Recognition Means to Me

Recognition is useful when it helps the work move forward.

I am grateful for every award, fellowship, program, selection, and person who has chosen to support the journey. But I try not to confuse recognition with progress.

A medal does not prove product-market fit. A fellowship does not prove leadership. A startup program does not prove that a company will succeed.

They are signals. Opportunities. Doors. Sometimes encouragement at exactly the moment when building feels uncertain.

What matters is what happens afterward.

  • ?Did I learn something?
  • ?Did the product improve?
  • ?Did I meet people who changed my thinking?
  • ?Did the opportunity create momentum?
  • ?Did I become more capable?

Keep Moving

The goal was never to collect recognition.
The goal was to become capable of building something meaningful.

Recognition has helped by giving the work confidence, exposure, feedback, community, credibility, and opportunities to keep moving.

But the next proof has to come from the work itself.

  • The Next Proof
  • Students using it.
  • Students returning.
  • Students trusting it.
  • Real progress being created.
